Experience, applied differently
Phillip Thompson founded Advanced Distribution Group in 2024 after more than two decades in technology distribution and retail.
The opportunity was to bring established industry knowledge and relationships into a business designed around modern systems, focused partnerships and faster decision-making.
Today, our work connects product development and sourcing with compliance, supply chain, retail execution and after-sales support. Our teams in South Africa and Taiwan bring the market and the manufacturing source into the same conversation.
Technology-led by design
We use integrated systems, operational data and automation to connect business processes and reduce unnecessary manual work.
Sales, inventory, customer and supply information help our teams coordinate activity and make informed decisions. Technology supports the way we work; it does not replace knowing our customers, understanding our products or taking responsibility for the outcome.
Focus gives partnerships room to grow
We are deliberate about the brands, products and customers we work with. Portfolio size is not the measure of a good partnership.

South Africa — Head Office & Main Warehouse
ADG’s Head Office and main warehousing operation are based at Equites Jet Park in Gauteng. A partner-operated logistics network extends our regional warehousing and distribution access to Cape Town, Durban, East London and Gqeberha.
Taipei, Taiwan — Asia Sourcing & Product-Development Office
Based at the World Trade Center in Taipei, near Taipei 101, our Asia team supports supplier negotiations, product development, manufacturing relationships and supply-chain coordination.
Regular face-to-face factory engagement helps us stay close to product roadmaps, production requirements and the supply of key materials.
South African focus. Regional customer relationships.
South Africa is our primary market. Some of our retail customers also operate stores in Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Eswatini, Lesotho and Malawi. The reach of each ADG programme depends on the products and channels agreed with the customer.
